The Vorpal Sword of Gerdreg

The sword of Gerdreg is a broad sword +3 vorpal weapon. Crafted of black adamantite a hilt of
bones, as the whole blade of the weapon oozes a red- black hellfire.

The sword negates all abjuration magics within 30 feet of it. Can detect the location of any lower-planar creature as well as the whereabouts of one wand of Orcus .This function can be used only once per day.

The weapon’s prominent ability is to cause double damage to all goodly creatures. In addition to the above powers, the weapon also reflects all fire based attacks back at their caster and grants the wielder 15% magic resistance. AD&D 2e
